Five lush Electronica pearls have been aligned to a handy EP under his most famous moniker, which shows certainly proof of not only some kind of concept but also of the unquestionable mastership that Esa exposes in all his musical works. Without trendy side blows some grumblers might call it traditional but the more enlightened listener is fairly aware that glistening tunes and sophisticated beat architecture in broad cinemascope will never ever become obsolete.

p.s. incidentally 23rd of march 2009 (the releasedate of the Cold Trail EP) is the anniversary of the original march 23rd 1989 Fleischmann/Pons Cold Fusion tabletop experiment. isn't that nice?

[VPF - Video Play Free #13] Lackluster Live at Assembly

Lackluster é um dos mais interessantes e originais produtores na área da electrónica experimental, usualmente designada por IDM. Com com diversas edições em netlabels como a Monotonik ou a Kahvi. A mais recente das edições livres deste finlandês data de Dezembro de 2007, via Kahvi, e é o registo de um live act ocorrido num dos mais importantes eventos de música electrónica da Escandinávia realizado em Agosto de 2007. Intitulado "Live at Assembly", foi também registado em video. Aqui fica:
