After "Alquimia Dub I" the idea of a continuum was inherent to this dub-cooperations meeting Alrucini and Minson with the Alchemy of Jah.

"Je me promene pour Montmatre et Chatelet,
camping au Bois de Bologne..."

A natureza das palavras faladas conduz a nossa atenção ao existencialismo subterrâneo e visionário, declamações selvagens, leituras doces e poesia improvisada de uma geração nova, viajando abertamente a nossa mente, com arte fantástica, em muitas formas de expressão, até à vertigem do mundo real, aos mistérios da fantasia e ao sonho, concedidos pelas pessoas envolvidas nesta cooperação, que usaram livremente instrumentos acústicos/elétricos e a eletrónica, sem compromissos.

Gravado principalmente em três jam-sessions diferentes e misturado mais tarde com vários elementos audio.

A primeira jam-session ocorreu na Residência da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Porto, foi o primeiro encontro para Xarhope e Minson com Alrucini e improvisaram toda a noite, gravando o melodica, a eletrónica e a guitarra até o amanhecer, quando a segunda jam-session foi prevista para esse mesmo dia, ao final da tarde nos estúdios da Fábrica-do-Som, onde Xarhope, Nemraca e Minson gravaram as vozes, as baterias e o tema "Adoçante" com Alrucini (guitarra). Poucos dias mais tarde a terceira jam-session aconteceu num pavilhão abandonado em Coimbra onde Xarhope e Minson gravaram as baterias, as flautas, o didgeridoo, a darbuka e outros instrumentos de percussão.

Estas gravações foram uma doce provocação para incluir os elementos que faltavam e Out Level respondeu à chamada enviando as palavras faladas e as guitarras gravadas em sua casa, em Oliveira do Hospital, para serem misturadas por Alrucini e Xarhope nas sucessivas misturas que incluem, além das gravações das jam-sessions: a guitarra, drum pad (Alrucini); pássaros, piano (Xarhope); eletrónica (Xarhope, Minson, Alrucini); gravações de campo (Luís Antero) e mais palavras faladas (Xarhope, Minson, Alrucini, Arlete Ferreira).

JahRucini & JahMinson "Alquimia dub I" EP

A alquimia dominou a lei da transformação dos elementos mas nem sempre para criar o espaço e tempo necessários para que as coisas divinas sejam absorvidas pelos mortais.
Este EP tem uma via marginal bem definida, onde ritmos reggae e ambientes dub se cruzam, ao longo de uma ribeira sonhadora que nasce na colaboração entre músicos.
Composto por três temas, é no espaço-tempo do futuro que este trabalho se complementa, porque "Alquimia dub I" anuncia um próximo, o que há de vir. Fica o release em inglês deste primeiro trabalho em pura colaboração musical editado pela Electro Rucini

The element of Dub meets Jah Alchemy.
The idea for this project started inside JahMinson´s mind, with the sound of dub, the challange is set by JahRucini with percussions, bass lines and sampled sounds to form a rythmic structure able to sustain the ambiences then mixed by JahMinson that recorded, with transforming methods, these ambiental tones of spectral colors.

Instrumental reggae in the experience of the cosmic jam.
Oriental alchemy roots under water are flowing.
Almost tribal.

About the [xs-09] Minson Hidden Monster EP release
We’re glad to anounce that the minson Hidden Monsters EP, released in March, is finally available for listening. here we have a text present on the cover which induces us in the mtihologycal theme of the album.
