M-PeX - Livre

[EN] LIVRE is the new album by M-PeX, a work that celebrates freedom and the essence of being free. With the collaboration of André Coelho on double bass, this primarily acoustic album, enriched with elements of ambient electronics, offers a deep exploration of dialogues and improvisations between the Portuguese guitar and the double bass. Composed of 15 tracks, including improvisations captured in direct take, LIVRE invites the listener on an introspective and liberating journey. Highlights include tracks such as 'Balada da Costa Azul', 'Canto Al-Ulyã', 'Cónios', and 'Al-Çonik'. Released as part of the PRALAC artistic residency, with edition by Enough Records and artwork by Marco Madruga, this album is a reflection on the importance of freedom in artistic creation, in life, and in the world.

[PT] LIVRE é o novo álbum de M-PeX, uma obra que celebra a liberdade e a essência do ser livre. Com a colaboração de André Coelho no contrabaixo, este disco essencialmente acústico, enriquecido com elementos de electrónica ambiente, oferece uma exploração profunda de diálogos e improvisos entre a guitarra portuguesa e o contrabaixo. Composto por 15 temas, incluindo improvisos capturados em take directo, LIVRE convida o ouvinte a uma viagem introspectiva e libertadora. Destacam-se faixas como 'Balada da Costa Azul', 'Canto Al-Ulyã', 'Cónios' e 'Al-Çonik'. Editado no âmbito da residência artística PRALAC, com edição da Enough Records e grafismo de Marco Madruga, este álbum é uma reflexão sobre a importância da liberdade na criação artística, na vida e no mundo.

Corruttela - Corruttela

[EN] Corruttela is an Italian side-project rising from the artistic connection of Emiliano Pietrini (Globoscuro) + Edoardo Pistolesi Somigli (Edø Pistø Sømi) with the aim of exploring new sound potentialities through a 4-hands compositional approach in which the two artistic personalities are giving birth to a renovated concept, in which electronic and analogue ambient refined flows are walking arm in arm, and melt in a psychedelic and concrete "harmonious disharmony". The 4 tracks in this first work are characterized by a heterogeneous homogeneity, mainly based on the alchemic fusion of electronic sounds intertwining with smart piano-esque bleeps, gusts of concrete noise, irrational wooden percussions, synthesizers and theremin that walk together with different kind of steps but in a stubbornly common direction. Paradoxically the panorama that opens up raves geometrically outlined visions, it is a sort of sonic poem without words which leads on a corridor with many doors and many entrances that revolve around the different cardinal points of a common caothic universe.

[PT] Corruttela é um projecto Italiano do duo Emiliano Pietrini (Globoscuro) e Edoardo Pistolesi Somigli (Edø Pistø Sømi) com o objectivo de explorar novas sonoridades a 4 mãos, duas personalidades distintas a misturar o electrónico e o analógico com uma homogeneidade heterogénica do uso de toques de piano, rajadas de barulho sólido, percursões de madeira irracionais, sintetizadores, theremin. Á descoberta de uma passagem de poema sonoro no universo caótico comum.

M-PeX - ODÝSSEIA

[EN] Latest album by M-PeX, his 5th on Enough Records is a double album. It draws it's inspirations from two odysseys: Homero's and Kubrik's. The first cd, sub-titled "Prologus" is entirely acoustic, with M-PeX on the Portuguese guitar and André Coelho on double bass. The second cd is titled "Epilogus", adding electronic elements to the sounds and featuring additional guest artist DJ X-Acto providing some additional electronics and scratch sounds. [PT] Mais recente album de M-PeX, o seu quinto lançado pela Enough é um album duplo. Inspirado em duas odisseias, a de Homero e a de Kubrik. A primeira parte entitula-se "Prologus" e consiste em 6 temas completamente acústicos, com M-PeX na guitarra portuguesa e André Coelho no contra-baixo. A segunda parte entitula-se "Epilogus" e acrescenta elementos electrónicos com a colaboração do artista convidado DJ X-Acto. Grafismo de Marco Madruga.
