"Soon after the first contact between our home planet and a distant planet, a global secret organization was formed to attempt to keep the public knowledge of these contacts to a minimum. The organization was quickly uncovered following the first attack on our home planet and the organization quickly lost public trust and support. In an attempt to gain the public's trust, the organization allowed one civilian to give reports on the organizations actions. To maintain some secrecy, and protect the reporter's identity, the reports were put out under the name...(morse)"
