[EdP074] BITCHO - Bomba

BITCHO é um projecto performativo/musical centrado numa figura ambígua meio ancestral com um híbrido folk.

Parte da reflexão sobre o hoje e dá corpo ao animal feminino. É um projecto que se encontra em constante mutação nos seus vários âmbitos o sonoro, o textual, o performático, o imagético, jogando com uma multiplicidade de influências.

Bomba é a recolha de alguns dos temas que são trabalhados ao vivo com uma forte componente visual. Foi concebido por Susana Chiocca, em colaboração com Sílvio Almeida.

The Easton Ellises - Nightwavs

[EN] Enough Records is proud to present their 6th Easton Ellises release called Nightwavs. Fruit of a twelve month effort, Nightwavs is the Montreal band’s latest studio EP. Many songs were written in but only a select few made the cut. On the record you will find a refreshing sound that goes from rock with 80s synthesizers a la Duran Duran, to disco with "funky" guitars a la Nile Rodgers, which is reminiscent of the recent Daft Punk success "Get Lucky". You can find creative commons samples of their songs available on ccmixter. There is also a video produced under a Creative Commons license for the 3rd song on the EP entitled Falcon 69.

[PT] A Enough Records apresenta a sua 6a edição dos The Easton Ellises entitulada Nightwavs. Após 12 meses de esforço, esta nova edição é o mais recente EP gravado em estúdio da banda Canadiana. Com sonoridades que vão desde o rock com sintetizadores dos anos 80 à la Duran Duran, ao disco com guitarras "funky" a la Nile Rodgers, reminescente do recente sucesso dos Daft Punk "Get Lucky". Os samples das músicas dos The Easton Ellies encontram-se disponiveis para remisturas no ccmixter. Está também disponivel um video do terceiro tema do EP: Falcon 69.

Katarina Magalhães is egotron and vice versa. Both share kellogs froot loops fashion design and listening and making music. Has sound artist, she learned by her self to use Ableton Live software for her musical creativity process. In term of influences one can find reminiscences of electro/punk/pop totally electronic, in an almost low fi tronica sense. It can be recognized different sorts of influences from mylo, uclic, stereoboy, metronomy, the faint, cabaret voltaire, goldie or tricky. The symbiosis between music and fashion design is a key element to egotron, and although the world will lose someone with a potential for music maybe someday we can see her in the catwalk.

In the last years in Portugal there has been recurring manifestations of the rockabilly movement, most of them centered on Coimbra. Bands, such as The Legendary Tiger Man, Wraygunn, and later, Nicotine Caffe Orchestra have come to the forefront of the underground Portuguese scene and extrapolating (at least the first two bands mentioned) to the mainstream. Choosing to publish a rockabilly band with a creative commons license is part of the xs premises of breaking all barriers in avoiding the choice to publish specific types of music, such as, electronic projects. Having said this, we present you Lotus Mecanica, a band that we believe has what it takes to be a rockabilly band. This is a live recording act, in which we can listen to Lotus Mecanica style, a kind of rockabilly blues dirty punk. Also to note, is the fact that we are discussing the idea of distributing a limited edition in digipack or cdr of this ep, so if you’re interested, just let us know.
